Had a delivery last night and I was very impressed, both the lamb pasanda and tarka dall were very good, and it arrived quarter of an hour sooner than estimated.

As usual had a fantastic meal and the service was brilliant. Our main waiter was Opal. Highly recommend this restaurant

I live in Bristol I came to thornbury to visit my family n we decided to eat here n we all enjoy are meals the curry was delicious I would definitely recommend eating here they have the best currrys n the nan bread didn’t even touch the side of my mouth wish I order more I will be coming bck here next week to try another dish Thankyou chef nice curry haven’t had ine like the befoe thornbury curry is the best !! They are lucky to have you .

Easy to order online, nice delivery driver and delicious food. Saag paneer is one of my favourites and the curry was very tasty.

Lamb special and sag paneer was lush we were sent veggie samosas instead of meat and the chicken dansak garlic was burnt affecting the whole taste Sorry not the best we ever had these issues from the team before.

Fantastic service from Opal. Such a friendly person. Food was cooked ready for the time I requested. 5 meal all perfect. Would highly recommend this restaurant as you get great service & food. Thank you Opal.

Fast service for delivery. Took 40 mins. Chips was cold Everything else was fantastic. we would definitely order again. P.s I would add a search bar.On your menu,to make it much easier to use.

Wow - Such a lovely evening at this hidden gem of Thornbury. I cannot believe that I haven't dined inside here before. We already knew the food was excellent as we have enjoyed probably to many takeaways from here. Right from the beginning the staff were very friendly and very polite, while all the time adhering to the current rules. The dining area was so lovely and spacious. Really finished of a lovely birthday- Thank you Thornbury Tandoori -We will be back

Unfortunately, even though the service was very good, the food was not. The starter, Onion Bhajee, was fine, and very pleasant. The main course however, Chicken Madras, was not. The chicken was Very Dry and, for a Madras, there was Much too Much, curry Powder in the sauce. I have lived in India for many years and, if this was served, someone would be shot! Please get a good chef.

Wow what can I say my parents came over to thornbury we decided to have an Indian takeaway absolutely amazing food the best Indian I’ve enjoyed in a long time thank you Thornbury Tandoori.

Subject: Meal Hi just sending this email the meal I've just had was the worst Indian meal I've ever eaten the prawn puree was very bland. The sumosas well all the food was bland. The onion bargees where very dry crumbled could not eat them. The tandoori chicken was over cooked and dry has if it was left over from the day before then warmed up. The biryani was tasteless. The only nice it of the meal was the lettuce and mint sauce.

Just brilliant every time. Eating in is a pleasure and the takeaway service is first class. Really delicious food, one of my all time favourite Indian restaurants.

My first meal here since opening. What a great place to eat. Really good food and reasonably priced. The staff were helpful, attentive and good fun. Having lived in the area for forty odd years this is the best Indian experience I have had. Will be back again soon. Thanks Thornbury Tandoori

My 65th Birthday! Excellent food with a wide range of choices and reasonably priced. It is not often you go out for a meal and are greeted by staff members with such a genuinely courteous disposition. Thank you also for my birthday cake with candle which was a excellent surprise. - I'll be back, and if anyone is reading this - so should you.

Lovely food, all round. Just unfortunately, I ordered a medium hot dish and it had zero 'kick'/heat at all. As i say it was still lovely. Delivery would be helpful but not essential.
